Hellboy offers 20 paylines and players can wager up to 10 coins per line. The smallest coin size is 0.01 and the largest coin size is 0.25. Therefore the maximum line bet works out to 2.50 and the maximum total bet per spin works out to 50.00. The highest line payout is 10,000 coins for getting five Hellboy Logo symbols in an active payline. At the maximum line bet this will pay 25,000 credits. The Hellboy Logo symbol is the wild symbol. It doubles payouts when it substitutes in a winning combination. Hellboy’s Fist is the scatter symbol. When two or more appear on the reels then scatter payouts are awarded to the player. The defining feature of the Hellboy branded video slot game is the Underworld Bonus. It is a multi level bonus game on the second screen. It is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. The mission of this bonus game, taken from the Hellboy legend, is to make safe the hidden Relic of Power guarded by ferocious beasts. Players have to traverse four levels of underground tunnels.
